About Me
I could use this space to tell you how wonderful I am, and then spend my life trying to live up to those expectations. But I won't. You will just have to decide that for yourself. I WILL say that I try to live by the *negative* golden rule (don't do anything to anybody you wouldn't want done to you). While I don’t always make the right decisions, I ALWAYS make them with the purest intentions(the nuns used to say "the path to hell is paved with good intentions." BULLSHIrT!). Sometimes I get kicked in the teeth, but I know I tried.
I am very happy being single and living in a humble hovel in the woods with my two cats. It would be nice to share some of my time with someone special-and if you are with me, you ARE special. I don't camp, fish, hike or ride a motorcycle much any more. (Cold damp ground vs warm dry bed...hmmm...to me, this is a no brainer.) I did all of those things to my heart's content long before they were trendy. Now, I like to be at home and watch movies, sip home made Chianti, work in my garden, pet the cats, work around the place and just relax. As a rule, I only go out when there's some place I want to go and someone I want to go with...except for work. I like strong coffee, rich dark chocolate, bold red wines and shapely women. I don't smoke cigarettes, but I DO smoke a pipe. I have my own handyman business so you will find I'm quite adept at almost anything, though I still have most of the nothing I started out with. I did massage for a living for over ten years and still love to touch. I like doing things, so I stay pretty active. My work keeps me in fairly good condition. I don't enjoy sports, games or reality (illiterate) TV. Including NAStyCAR. I wouldn't consider myself very hip. I have lived on every coast of the US and many points in between. I learned to cook in five star restaurants and it is something I still LOVE to do. I get along very well with most people. HONESTY and SINCERITY are just about the first things that play into any relationship, AFTER physical and intellectual attraction. I like me and I'm happy with who I am. If you aren’t happy being you, then no one can be happy being with you. I like strength and independence. If you are rich and beautiful, well, maybe we can overcome that. I like a girlie girl who can also get down and play in the dirt. About the only dancing I do is slow...in the kitchen...barefooted...usually without music...or, often, clothing. I am a very sensual-and sexual-person (they ARE two different things). I would not be at all averse to meeting a lovely in a warmer climate. Summers in NC-winters further south? Sounds wonderful to me!!
