About Me
I'm 5'9, 190lbs, brown hair with light blue eyes, blah, blah, blah. Got a couple o'hobbies: acting, writing, singing, dancing, reading, movies, music, photography, the rare occasional pubbin' 'n' clubbin', that sort o'stuff. Always longing for a better tomorrow while enjoy what can be enjoyed about today. Trust me, that's far more optimistic then it sounds. :) I like or am okay with most things, after all, live and let live, right? I like board games, mounds and mounds of good books piled haphazardly around for easy access, and a stockpiled variety of tea. The occasional hike through the hill or a stroll along the beach is nice, and I'd rarely turn down the chance to see a good play, concert, or ballgame. I dislike religious extremist, though, if I can be said to truly dislike any one thing at this moment. By all means, love your religion if for some reason you have one, I have no problem with that, to each their own and everyone’s happy. But don't go the extremist route (oh, and please don't try to convert me. If I see some Jehovah’s Witnesses coming to the door, when they ask if I'm looking for Jesus, I'm going to answer the door naked, and say, "Yeah, I think he's in the pantry, want to help me look?") I think everyone should retain of little appreciation of child-like fun in them, just for the heck of it. Listen to the music you like loudly, dance around; and enjoy life at least once a day...or not (that's the great thing about freedom of choice, you can choose). I'm equally happy reading and drinking tea, or going for a hike, or just doing whatever interesting activity that happens to present itself.
Iv got out of the military, after five years of service, back in '04, and after a brief period in Oregon, moved back to California, just a different section of it. I'll list some of my favorite Books (A), Movies (B), Music (C), and Food (D)

A) Oo, I love books. To many great books to choose from, though. I'll pretty much give most things a try once, except most westerns or 'romance' novels. Biographies of any and all sorts, The Odyessy, The Illiad, Harry Potter, Beyond Good & Evil, The Golden Age, V For Vendetta (Alan Moore is a God among other writer...types...yeah, that was witty :p), Watchmen, American Gods (Neil Gaiman), Anais Nin, Stephen King, **stard Out of Carolina, Cornelius Ryan, Carter Beats the Devil, Fight Club, Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket) and many, many more.

B) Again, so many excellent movies in so many different genres, how could someone pick just a few favorites? Here are some of the ones I've watched most recently: The Legend of 1900, Saving Private Ryan, The Constant Gardener, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire, Hellboy, Best in Show, Black Hawk Down, Donnie Darko, Zulu, Lawrence of Arabia, Brotherhood of the Wolf, the Evil Dead Trilogy, Doctor Zhivago, Seven Samurai, Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, March of the Penguins, Story of the Weeping Camel, Band of Brothers, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, O' Brother Where Art Thou?, Dune (the recent sci_fi chl. one, not the 80's one) & Children of Dune, City of God, Mars Attacks!, Whale Rider, Fight Club, Raise the Red Lantern, Vampire Hunter D, Seven, Golgo 13, It's a Wonderful Life, The Motorcycle Diaries, A Very Long Engagement, Boogie Nights, West Side Story, Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Magnoli, Moulin Rouge, Amelie, Clerks, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, The Corpse Bride Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, LOTR, The Star Wars trilogy (the original trilogy, thank you), Ghost in the Shell, City of Lost Children, Yojimbo, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Romero's Dead Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Blood: The Last Vampire, Myst of Avalon, Almost Famous, JFK, King Kong, A History of Violence, RENT, Hotel Rwanda, Tigerland, The Exorcist, Scream Trilogy, Pirates of the Carribean, Unbreakable, Downfall, The Royal Tenebaums...oh, many more, but those are what come to mind at the moment.

C) Again, I'll give most anything a listen to. I listen to Eminem, Mozart, Green Day, Louis Armstong, Norah Jones , Ennio Morricone, Tom Petty, Linkin Park, Metallica, Pink Martini, Three Leg Torso, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Joss Stone, Jimmy Buffett, Nickleback, Maroon 5, and quite a few others besides.

D) If it taste good, that's good enough for me...though I do seem to like a good deal of Italian food. :D Oh, and TEA! I cannot live with TEA, I must have 24/7 access to TEA...well, maybe not 24/7, but I do like my tea.

So, yes, that's a little disjointed information about me. :)

I don't really know what type of person I'd like to meet , but I suppose the most important thing is that it is someone I can share a smile, a good conversation, and a good time with.

I just became the newest student addition to College of Marin, so happy about that. Good times lie ahead.

First Date
Well, that depends on the person you're going with, doesn't it? Sometimes a nice dinner, followed by a walk through the park or along the beach is a good choice, or followed by a movie. Sometimes a mid-day brunch and hike. Occasionally a ballgame would be a first good date, or a good play down at the local theatre. It really all depends on who you are taking on the date.
