To my next serious girlfriend,
You sure are taking your sweet time finding me arnt you? Sure there was an obligatory healing period after my last serious ex and also the more nessesary then I thought healing period after my rebound relationship. But hey... its been awhile now and I am grounded, stable and pretty d*mn available yet you still elude me. Is this on purpose? Maybe you are intentionally avoiding me so I can live some long life of penance for something I am sure I did wrong but am blissfully unaware of. Much like that dude in Shawshank Redemption, I will be rewarded with finding happiness when I am much older. Well ok then, I can accept that, but it doesnt change the fact that im single now and its getting pretty boring...
Ok fine then... so your gonna take your time even tho it might drive me nuts. Let me save time for both of us now by telling you what I would only have to tell you (or you would come to realize yourself) later when we eventually meet.
I am a ****ing awsome boyfriend... it doesnt mean I'm in line to inherit a million dollars, it means I'm very sensitive to the feelings of people I'm with, both friends and lovers. I'm the guy who will wake up early just to scrape the frost off your windows so you wont have to. I'm the guy who will challenge you to a good conversation and wont avoid a topic just because we disagree on it. I am the boyfriend you hear about who can cook really well (no that doesn't mean I am gay - just Sicilian) and will spend alot of energy making you your favorite dinner... I'm the guy who wont be afraid to talk to your friends and wont feel the need to be attached to your hip at parties, tho I must admit... I do enjoy physical contact because it builds a sense of intimacy. Sure most of the time I will have a slightly unhealthy obsession with your body to the point of buying you outrageous underwear without asking you first... but.. think about it... would you rather have an oversexed boyfriend who will in public once in awhile in a loving way or would you rather have an asexual guy who is more a friend then a lover?
Your family will ****ing love me... if "winning over the parents" were a sport my record would be 3-0-1. The 1 is a no-decision because my fourth serious girlfriend had emotional issues and wouldnt introduce me to her parents...but I am confident they would have loved me too.
When we finally get close enough that we decide to move in together know this: anytime you replace the toilet paper with the paper coming from underneath rather then above....I WILL turn the roll around. Sorry babe this is non-negotiable. But dont be put off by my little quirks.
so hurry the **** up and find me... do you have any idea how many movies we could be watching together? Do you have any idea how many weekend days and holiday nights we can be enjoying together that we are currently wasting by being single?
