Thanks for checking out my profile; hopefully you got the movie from which I borrowed my username and headline.
Though I love to watch the occasional flick, that's not to say that I'm a couch potato. Far from it; I stay fit, have a healthy social life (spend time with friends/family, have dinner parties, etc…), and am kept busy with lots of little hobbies and activities.

Sooo…that said, here’s a little bit about me:
1 - I am active and love the outdoors. I like to look after myself and enjoy going for a walk, hike, run, and now (as I’ve JUST discovered how much I enjoy it) snow-shoeing.
2 - Working on becoming a bit more mechanically inclined. I guess I can only sit behind a desk for so long.
3 – I have a very strong network of friends and family. We spend a lot of time together from just hanging out, hosting dinner parties (..and DAMN!! I can cook!!), going to see plays, staying fit together, catching the occasional flick……the normal everyday things.

A little more about me and hopefully something about you too:
1. Fitness is important and I/you like to look after myself/yourself.

3. Have my/your own interests that I/you like to pursue.
4. Positive and supportive of people around me/you.

A few stories:
Last summer couldn't have been better!! Let's see...what to share???...oh yeah!!!
I've traveled to another gulf island; it was a great time!! Went sight-seeing around the island, celebrated Canada Day celebrations with the locals, enjoyed gourmet dinners, got some fitness in (needed that with all the food), helped christen the opening of a new island winery, and got in lots of shopping.
Fairly eventful weekend but you might be saying "so what! Don't you travel??". Yeah; I travel. I've been all over the world and have had tonnes (Canadian spelling) of adventures; just not as much in my own backyard. I had a great time exploring more of BC and I'm looking forward to some more adventures!

I took motorcycle lessons last summer; that was FUN!!! Since I was little I’ve always talked about getting a motorcycle, getting my license, and have finally made time for both. Now, for the spring/summer, I just need to get used to riding again and can start thinking about traveling locally around the lower mainland. Day trips are going to be great!!

I discovered some new hiking/running trails on the North Shore!! My running time has been steadily improving (maybe not so much over the holidays) but that said, I've finally taken the opportunity to go snow-shoeing - that was fun!!
Skiing this year has been great and I’m looking forward to taking a few more turns on the hills.

What am I looking for? I'm looking to meet people that are confident, upbeat, happy, fun, positive, active, stress free, and know how to enjoy life - be it friendship or something more meaningful; I'm open to growing my circle of friends. I am an intelligent, focused, goal-driven individual and can truly relate to those that share these qualities.

Hang out, go for a hike, grab a coffee and go for a walk along the seawall, or window shop on Granville Island. Getting to know someone doesn't have to be stressful; it can be fun.
People watching, enjoying the scenery, having a coffee, and chatting about anything and everything almost always turns into a great afternoon.
