About Me
A little smarter than the average bear, you will find me to be confident, contemplative, challenging, open-minded, very big on communication, and not so big on people who dont like to look inside themselves. And just to soften things up a bit, I'm also very affectionate, playful, and loyal.
I enjoy alone time, which is more about being quiet than being by myself. I appreciate natural beauty - water, trees, the sun, the four seasons, animals. I'm a girly girl; I just know how to get my hands dirty.

Turn-ons: integrity, confidence, TALL men, literacy, puppy breath, sarcasm, Swarovski jewellery, strong arms, the smell of horses, chivalry, antique quilts, expensive perfume, honesty.
Turn-offs: fanny packs, arrogance, bad manners, people who block the road to queue up for Tim Horton's drive-thrus, insincerity, men who wear running shoes out for dinner, bad spelling, people who have to be the centre of attention, cruelty to animals. Oh, and the phrase "live life to its fullest" .
While I dont have a checklist of criteria you must meet, I do know the sort of man who 'does it for me'. I am sarcastic (it really is a higher art form), so I appreciate a man with a sharp wit. He will know the difference between gratification and fulfillment and be willing to sacrifice the former in pursuit of the latter (this one is REALLY important to me). Smart is sexy, stuffy intellect is not. I like outdoorsy men, but I also like a guy in a suit. He'd be the kind of guy who'd stop at the side of the road to pick a bunch of daisies, not one who'd call a florist to have a dozen roses delivered. He will be patient because I'm not.
That's my horse in the pic. I spend a lot of time with him because he brings joy and balance to my life. You dont have to love horses but it would be great if you'd be up for hanging out at the barn or going to a horse show once in awhile.
Please...if you dont have a pic in your profile, send one in your email. I can appreciate you may have good reason for not posting one, but please dont be cagey when I ask for one; it just makes me think you're married. I am NOT looking for a one-night stand, FWB's or cyber. If YOU are, that's your wave to ride, but have the courtesy to be honest with yourself and with me and dont waste my time.
P.S. If I've removed myself from your favourites list, its only because I think its a little silly that you added me and then never said a word for weeks on end. I'm not here for the numbers, so accordingly I do a frequent cleanup of my list.
And as a caveat, I'm not usually this black & white, honest I'm not!. But experience here has taught me that its probably a better use of everyone's time if I'm a little more specific about what I am and am not looking for.
First Date
The venue is immaterial; it's the company that will make it memorable. Anything that allows us the opportunity to explore the potential.
I don't do coffee interviews; too public, too noisy, and I dont drink coffee or tea anyway. If we've learned enough about each other to want to meet, I'm happy to invest more than 20 mins of my time.
