 | We found each other on Plentyoffish in July of 2007 it was love at first site, we began to talk thru this site and made plans to meet in August of last year. I live way North in Bellingham and he lived way down South in Roy. One weekend when we both were free, he rode up on his M.C. we both love to ride, when I saw him, it trully was love at first site. He is beautiful and when he saw me he said I was, we went out for dinner that weekend and people were out looking at his bike. They happened to be in the same profession as he was, he asked about if they were hiring and they said yes, he moved up here a week later and started to work. We went the following weekends to begin to move his stuff into our home. And now, we have decided to be together forever, He as bought me an engadgement ring. And we plan on marrying in the future. The most amazing part of our story is that I had finished Chemo quite a few months before we met. He knows that my cancer could come back and he still loves me. Now I can focus on my love for him, his family, my family and the dog and can focus on healing for the years ahead. My mom used to say my prince would come and at 51 years of age, he finally did. My life is full and happy and we adore spending time together. We have been together over 6 months now and by August of 2007 it will have been a year.  | He sent me an e-mail on plenty of fish telling me he was interested and for me to check out his profile and contact him if I was also interested. I was and I did. We "chatted" back and forth on the site for a couple of weeks then I gave him my phone number and he started calling me. He wanted to meet me pretty much from the start and could have easily done so because he was a truck driver and could get through my area about any time he wanted, but I was a little afraid to meet him so suddenly, since I had had several really bad relationships. It took him three months to talk me into finally meeting him,so I gave him my address and he shows up at my house at 3am in the morning...lol.(It was the only time he could get through there at that point and REALLY wanted to see me). I climbed up into his semi and we set and talked all night long. Sometime during our conversation he convinced me to go to Florida with him to drop off a load he was hauling. I left with him that afternoon and never got back out of the truck. We traveled all acrossed the United States and his semi needed some repairs done to it in Las Vegas,Nevada and we had to stay in a motel there for a week. We had a blast and since we were both already head over heels in love with each other (love at first sight truly)we got married before we left Vegas and our next stop to make a drop was in Los Angeles so we honeymooned there. It was totally wonderful and we have been extremely happy every since. We have now been married for six months and have come off the road and got us a house of our own and live there with our children (he has a 9yr old son from a previous marriage and I have two boys and a girl also from a previous marriage). We are planning to have a child of our own as soon as possible and we owe all of our happiness to Plenty Of Fish because we would have never met since he was always travelling if it had not been for the site.  | Vanessa msg'd e first on POF, she said she liked my profile and we sounded so similar. The next day I wrote back, and we added each other to MSN. We talked for 3 hours that day, and I had to work that night at 8pm, so we made plans to go to the movies the next night with a couple of friends. She said she couldnt wait till the next day to meet me, so we met at a local coffee shop, and it was love at first sight. We had plans for most of that week, and we just loved being around each other. It has now been almost a year, we have just bought a house together, we are expecting our first child in September 2007, and we are planning on getting married in a couple years.  | It all began in April 2006, when I was away in France for 3 months. I met Mariusz on POF and clicked with him immediatly. He was back in Montreal and I was in France. We spoke ever chance we got when I was away. The moment I came back from France, we had to meet to see if it was just too good to be true. Well it wasn't! We became really good friends, when I came back in July. We spent our weekends together with friends, and hung out whenever we could. August came around and one day while I was at work, I received the biggest bouquet of flowers I have ever seen, with a simple note that said 'Will you like to be my girlfriend?'... Of course I said YES! We got together on August 24th 2006, moved in together on December 2nd 2006. And now we are planning our wedding for 2008. I could not be happier! I never thought that I would find such a wonderful man! Especially online, don't get me wrong I met some real... umm.. interesting guys I guess you can say. But there is really great guys out there looking for that special girl! Take the chance! I did, and look where I am now! :) Thank You Plenty of Fish! |
