I messaged her first! She'll tell you different but thats an on-going argument (Im right!). I wasn't too optimistic about this whole on-line dating thing but on our first date it was love at first sight. I took her mud-boggin' in my chevy 4*4 pick-up, got stuck in the mud and split on a 12 pack of beer waitin' for the tow truck. Let's just say it got pretty steamy in there. I proposed to my lady while ice-fishin' on the lake. We're gettin married next summer...YYEEEEEEEhhhAAAAAA!!!!! Thanx plenty of fish! LOL ...keep on truckin!
Well first off I would like to say congrats to all the other who have found thier soul mates! And second I would like to tell my story. Now I am not good at the whole writting thing so if its not that structured I apolagize for that as writing is not one of my strongest subjects. Ok here is goes Well I met my sweetheart back in high school 14 years ago and he was in his last year of High school I was in grade 9 and he was older than me so there was a age factor there so that kind of held us back well not to mention we were with other people at the time, but we all hung out together but I sort of had a secret crush on him while I was dating the guy I was with I felt kind of bad but I felt a bit of a spark there, after I broke up with my boyfriend I figured I would bite the bullet and ask him out and to my surprise he said no...I was kind of disappointed he said no but I got over it. He graduted and moved on to college and got married and had two kids, and I moved on, and moved to Kingston..Years passed and one day I was at work I was walking up the street with the clients I work with from the art studio I work with adults with disabilities anyhow he was walking downtown and he passed me and said Hi and I kind of gave him a blank stare like who the heck are you do I remember you. But he rememberd me and well anyhow I thought that was it. And one day I check my messages and he messeged me on POF and hoping it was me. And I messaged back and gave him my msn address and phone number we met up for coffee and caught up on old times and well unfortuntly I was kind of interested in someone else at that time which was back in the spring but we still remained friends and talked and hung out. And then Months went on I broke up with the person I was interested in and was seeing and well I was just going out about my regular day and life and well It hit me I started to think about him alot. And it dawned on me that those old feelings and the crush I had for him 14 years ago came back I emailed him to tell him how I felt and lucky the relationship he was in was not doing soo good and he contacted me and we met up again on another date and the rest they say is History we are going to be moving in together the first of April and getting married next year and hopefully the pitter patter of little feet. He makes me feel soo good about myself and we have soo much fun when we are together I couldn;t ask for anything more. I Love him more than words can say. Honey if you come across this by any chance I LOVE YOU A WHOLE LOT.. So there is my story and thank god for second chances.
I was driving home one night and heard the ad for plenty of fish on the radio and thought that I would check it out because I didn't really have any luck meeting any local women with the other sites that I've tried in the previous months. I made my account and looked around on it and I kid you not, the first night that I was on that site I got a message from what turned out to be my soul mate. we exchanged pictures and talked on instant messenger for hours then when we felt comfortable we talked on the phone for hours. We thought it was time to meet. So we did. Our first dinner was at Chili's and its so funny.. she ordered the same thing I did but ate like less than half of that good steak! We hit it off great. She followed me to my house and dropped off her car and went to the movies and just had a great time. Here we are two months from getting married and I love her just as much now as I did the first time that I said I love you. This is a great site and I've recommended it to several of my friends in hope that they can find someone to make them as happy as I did. Thank for completing my life. James H.
We met on here and continued to chat on emails. We then decided to meet up and see if we liked one another and take it farther. We met at the beach and we each brought a friend for saftey reasons. We had so much fun just talking and telling jokes then I asked her on a real date. We met up around 8 pm or so and went to the movies and ended up back at the beach just walking on the shore line talking for hours, literally. When we realized what time it was we were amazed we had been on the beach for almost 5 hours talking. We said our goodbyes around 3 am and I have not been able to say goodbye to her since. We have been inseparable and when i joined the army she stayed faithful to me all through my training, i knew she was the one for me I proposed to her and I couldnt believe my ears when she said yes! we told all of our family and they were so happy for me!! We were married in a nice quiet ceremony where we had close family. We have been married since January 2007. She is the best thing that could ever happen to me :D
