 | Hiya everyone! Just wanted to let ya know that I found the love of my life on Plenty Of Fish. I had given up but thank goodness my dear sister put me on here. lol I emailed him on 1/04/06 and the on 01/05/06 he emailed me back. We met on 01/14/06 and from the moment I layed eyes on him I knew he was the one. There is a distance of 3 hours and it has not been all peaches and cream. But if you put your heart and soul into it the distance is nothing. We see eachother almost on a weekly basis. On 8/26/06 he took me back to the park that we met at and proposed. We were both in our jammies!!! He so rocks! I said yes and here we are. So if you think this internet stuff doesn't work THINK AGAIN!  | We found eachother online, and after we first met in person it was hook line'n sinker. We fell in love. She asked me to marry her a month later, and I moved in less than a month after that, and we're still going strong. We celebrated our one year anniversary last month, and there are many more to come.  | We started talking and e mailing in late November of 2005 and with the new year,2006, our e mailing and chatting became more regular with occasional phone calls. Sometime in late April of 2006 we decided we wanted to meet so in June she flew from British Columbia,Canada to Baltimore,Md,USA where i met her and we spent the month of June together on the eastern shore of Md where I lived at the time. In August I flew out to her home for couple of weeks and I really did like the area. Another plane trip for her in late September 2006 and another for me on New Years 2007. To make a long story short I had put my home up for sale in November 2006 and it sold in early January 2007 so I packed up my belongings and started a cross country drive to Washington state so we could be closer together. We were engaged on January 20th,2007 and now are enjoying life together. |
 | Me and my husband were 2 lost souls just trying to find someone to spend there life with and someone to truley be your best friend. Well we found it on Plenty of Fish and I made the first move and he wern't even in my area or even on my list. I started to give up hope so I went searching out of my normal radius and I found him and contacted him first and from there on he just went and I am so happy with him.  | My first meeting with Eric took place at 3am after he was finished work and on a night of emotional catharsis for me as I was trying to deal with the end of a very long, harsh breakup. At first I was unsure if we would get along since on the surface we had very little in common. His sweetness won me over when he offered me a hug to help me through my difficult night. Instantly I knew there was something special about him. As soon as I got home, I went online hoping to see him and sure enough he was there. I couldn't help telling him, "So...umm...I think I really like you." He responded the same. Our relationship developed slowly (well, slowly compared to how mine usually develop anyway) and each step was well thought out. At first the lack of drama confused and frightened me, but eventually I came to terms with the fact that love didn't have to mean chaos. I started to believe that I deserved the love of this wonderful man who was infinitely patient with me as I worked through my relationship trauma and opened myself up to him finally. I can honestly say that the time I've spent with him so far is the happiest of my entire life. On the anniversary of our first middle of the night donut shop meeting, I asked him to marry me and he said yes. We plan to enjoy a long engagement while we dream up our perfect wedding.
