 | I was on POF for a few months and talked to quite a few women through emails-met a couple in person, but for one reason or another the fire wasn't there that I knew burned inside of me. I have been married twice before for all the wrong reasons and basically was just too young. Other paid sites I was on were just as bad and I couldn't see paying continulously for something I was searching for that just did not seem to be there. POF is free. Anyhow I seen a beautiful women on POF that was clean cut and caught my attention big time. I read her profile and clung on to each and every word and I knew she was my type of women. At the end of her ad tho she put down "Must have a Harley" ! That sort of ruined my hopes of even meeting her because I no longer have a Harley and the Fat Boy I had about took my life in 2004. I literally ripped off my left leg in a bad accident and was life flighted on a helicopter by a group of Awesome Doctors that somehow managed to save what was left of my body and the organs that keep me going on. Soooooooo, I simply sent her a statement that read "Must have a Harley huh ?" That's kinda shallow dontcha think ? Well...she wrote me back and ripped what's left of my ass feeding me that's right this is America I can date whom I want to date. To make a long story short we had a few raw discussions and my bitterness was mainly due to my own insecurities. Finally she wrote and said if my attitude wasn't so bad I'd be a good looking guy. We started from there and I explained to her then why my bitterness was present about the Harley statement because I love to ride too-just recovering still from my accident. Once we met it was all over for the both of us and she is the best women in the world. I can honestly say she loves me for me and it's real-not sympathy at all. She has never looked at me any different for my disabilities and limitations and she knows one day we will ride together-of coarse on a Harley!!! We bought a house together last year and July 7th this year we're getting married. I love this women. |
 | I contacted him first. What I read in his profile is what attracted me to him. From our first meeting, I knew he was so different from everyone else I had met from Plentyoffish. I had been on dates almost every day since August when I finally met Jer in October and I was so glad because I was ready to give up. I guess I contacted him just in time because he was giving up his search and was ready to delete his profile when he saw my message. We contacted right away. We met October 10 for our first day, he moved in with me in January after 3 months! February he proposed and September we were married! Two months after our wedding, we got pregnant and are now expecting our first child! What can I say, it was so incredible how we met and I could never ask for a better husband.  | I met Tommy on the Plenty of Fish site. I am very happy with that site I love Tommy to death... We will be married on Feb. 24th 2007.. like 2 weeks away.. We had our beautiful daughter on 9/11/06. I couldnt be happier.I know that I found someone on the site and anyone esle can to the say do like I did and dont go for the first person you talk to.. I talked to him for almost 4 months before I met him I got to know him very well and we are much in love and very happy!!! |
 | me and my sweety Christine met here on POF. I was just getting over a relation in which I was hurt bad and wasnt really looking for a relation at the time. One night I came home got on the computer came to POF and saw someone added me to there favorites. I read her profile and saw how identicle our profiles were to each other. We both had wrote how we were tired of head games and childish crap etc. We were indenticle in our profiles about everything. After reading it I thought to myself should I e-mail her after thinking for about 30 seconds the only thought I had was "I would be a damn fool not to email her". We e-mailed each other a few times then started chatting on aim and yahoo which made it possible to learn we had more and more in common. We like the same music, share the same intrest, have the same viewpoints in life etc. Me and Christine to this day have never had a arguement. We have allot of fun when we are together and when we are apart I feel as part of me is gone yet I keep a smile on because I know its not forever. Me and Christine share a open, honest, trusting relationship. I would do anything for Christine she is my life I love her and i have this site to thank. |
 | Well one day i was searching profiles on this site and seen his Profile and started emailing him right away. I was on here 1 year before me and him met we seemed to lose contact to each other for about 6 months before we met then I thought I would try again to see how he is then he asked lets meet like we were going to. I called him from my moms house and we met at mikes mart in our home town. Then went to our mall for coffee and we noticed right then we were going to be together for along term becouse we had so much in common and are alike. He asked me out and awhile later asked me to marry him now we are expecting a son in 2 weeks of 2007. Thanks so much plentyoffish you gave me my own family dont give up all. |
