 | Aaron and I were both on Plenty of Fish for awhile. We both had met people from the site but the people we met never sparked our interest. Mid May I was checking my email on Plenty of Fish and saw Aaron's picture in the most recent people to check their emails in my area at the top of the page. I was intrigued so I read up on him and decided to send him a message. Before we knew it, we were having late night conversations on the phone that lasted for hours. Two weeks later we decided to meet in person. We met at a resturant about halfway between the two of us. I have to say that our first date was the best and most unforgettable date ever. Before we knew it, we were laughing, hanging out every night, going dancing, shooting pool, fishing, camping, meeting families and becoming a huge part of each other's lives. It felt like a fairytale. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could meet and be with such an amazing man who loved to be active and try new things. I was going through an internship and my last semester of college so we treasured every moment we got to see each other. Four months and a few days into our relationship Aaron asked me to be his wife. Now we are getting married in Jamaicia in October of this year.  | Well it all started out by me sending him a message, I had to message him because he looked so cuted and his profile actually seemed sincere. He message me back a few days later and we exchanged MSN addresses. From then on we spent hours a day chatting and getting to know each other. This went on for about 3 months before he gave me his number and I was finally able to put a voice to the face. We finally met in August of 05 and I moved in the following July.  | After trying all the other dating sites, we both happened across Plenty Of Fish about the same time and signed up. My photograph caught his eye right away and he wrote me first. When I read his letter and his profile, I was so impressed with him I thought, "why not" and wrote him back. We exchanged phone numbers that same day because Jim cannot type near as fast as I can and the telephone was much more comfortable for both of us. Jim and I hit it off right away on the phone and he asked if he could drive down and see me that evening. I could hardly wait to meet him in person.  | My wife Valenie contacted me at first just to give me props on being a single dad, little did she know that we would meet up and instantly fall in love. We talked for about a month or so before we ever met mostly in emails and instant messages, as well as a little on the phone. The first night we met was back in late july early august when it was flooding really bad here in houston. The night we where suppose to meet it had been raining all day and had flooded most of the service roads on 45 north. I had class that night and barly made it into the school parking lot, I was literally floating down the road. She called me about an hour before we where planning on meeting and was going to back out due to the weather. But i was determined to meet the girl whose words I had already fallen in love with. So we decided to go through with our plans to meet. We met at a local night spot called SWIG and immediatly hit it off. We had a very eventful night and once the evening was over and things where starting to come to an end, I drove her back to her car. We sat out in the parking lot for a little over 2 hours talking and holding each other. Neither one of us can ever forget our first kiss, there was so much magic and chemistry in that first kiss that 3 months later we where married. We each had a child from a previous relationship and they each took to the other right away. We have since been married almost 6 months now and been together 8 months. We have gotten a home,2 new cars and are very much in love and living a wonderful life knowing we found each other with the help of Plenty of Fish! |
