 | Well this picture was taken right before thanksgiving (literally like 20 min before going to his grandmas) We started writing eachother on christmas about once everyday constantally on the instant message. We moved in together and started dating on December 27th of 05. That was also the first time that we met. On my birthday April 12,2006 I woke up to a ring being slid onto my hand. We have been happily engaged and are hoping to get married here in December of 08. We honestly do owe it all to plenty of fish because if it wasnt for them We would have never met. |
 | it was quite sereal really myself & Robbie had been chatting for quite some time on msn & telephone, when one saturday i had been invited to my employers sisters wedding. So saurday afternoon we were chatting away and i invited him to join me although we hadnt met up till that point. Thinking that he wouldnt turn up for one minute. We arranged to meet at Malvern Link Station and when i got there Yeeeeeeee there was my Robbie waiting for me. I was a little naughty though he didnt know that my mother was taking me to the wedding so in a way he was thrown in at the deep end not only did he meet me for the first time but he had to meet my mum too, bless him he was sound. So off we went to the Iranion wedding and got on like a house on fire, we had a great time. Four days later he went home but came straight back to me and we havent looked back since. He asked me to marry him in front of all the Villa Fans on the 14th October, it was so lovely. Well roll on the 11th August 2007 thats our big day. Thanks POF your the best. Love Sedelle x x x x x |
 | Mel and I met on plentyoffish, we just started out by chatting online for hours. We then decided to meet. We would stay up all night just talking. A month later he took me to Niagara Falls for a camping trip, to see if we could stand being confined with each other even in a small tent with a storm blowing outside. Thanksgiving his mom came down to my house to meet me and when she approved, he proposed. We've been married almost 4 months now, even though it's not all roses and sunshine all the time, I think we are both glad we made the decision to put our profiles up on Plentyoffish. |
 | I saw her profile in June 2005, contacted her and we started chatting online. At the time she was home in NY and I was in WV. She was coming back to WV for school but not till Aug 2005. We talked a few times a week online, and once or twice on the phone. She got to WV and then my job sent me to another stae for a month of training. In Sept of 2005 we met in person. She came to my church so it was a public place. We went to lunch with a few people after church, and at lunch I knew there was something special about her. We talked that week and we got together and went to a movie the following Saturday. That day I met her friends and we all played cards till 1am. It progressed from there, Oct 9 2005 we became a couple. Feb 14 2006 we got engaged. June 10 2006 we got married, and I know with out a doubt she is my soulmate. Jan 23 2007 we had our first son. Thanks to the site I was able to find my bestfriend and soulmate. I never thought I would find anyone on the net but it does happen and is great. |
 | I wrote him first, he had the most adorable picture of him holding this little tiny fish on his profile. I simply wrote"Nice fish" and after a week of no response, I really didnt give it any more thought. Then about a week later he wrote me back. we wrote back and forth for a bit, then decided to swap messenger ID's. We talked a goood bit and then swaped #'s and from then on... it was love at first "speak" for both of us. Countless hours of talking and getting to know each other. We have SO much in common. We think alike, like the same types of things, we even say the same thing at the same time a lot. From there, we decided to meet and well we have been unsepparable ever since. We moved in together back in October and are now engaged. I couldnt have asked for a more perfect match, nor a better man. I love him and am so very thankful to have met him. We laugh alot about how we met, and we both are thankful for the love we found. |
