 | well I was living in Sherwood Park, AB and He was living in Fort McMurray, AB and I travelled back and forth visiting my ill sister who passed away in September 2007 and I was on POF just looking around and I decided to look in the Fort mcMurray Area just to see if there was anyone I could possibly know. Lots of easterners up there and I am from the East. I just happened to see Jason's Profile and left him a comment of Nice Pic great profile. I am not sure to this day why I left that comment but I did. A few days later I got a reply, telling my that he knew me, he knew I used to live in Fort Mac and where I used to work. As it turned out we used to take the same bus to site and had a few little conversations about six years previous, wow I was shocked. So we had a great laugh at that and then we started talking and he became a real great friend talking to me about my sister, as he too lost his dad to Cancer and I said you know I have to tell you my sister told me before she dies that when she got to where she was going she would send an amazing man to me, as she was my support through my past failed relationships. So I wondered was this him. He wondered was he the one. I pushed him away, allot as we lived 400 kms apart and I have 2 children and he had no children, he actually can not have children. But anyway, I broke his heart as he asked me about a million times to move to Fort Mac with him and I refused, and time went on and he still insisted I was what he had been looking for and he was not about to let it get away unless I really had no feelings for him then he would give up, I could not tell him at this point I was falling in Love with him, I had to be sure, as moving with my children was a huge move. Jason really fought for me and He really believes in us , in our now family, he accepts my children completely, he asked my parents for their blessing and he asked me to marry him and now here we are happy, actually the happiest ever, best friends, he has been with me through my lows and highs and we grow everyday and learn every day and that makes us stronger and our family values are so strong, we are going back to Labrador in June 2007 to get married. A little tid bit about Jason he wears a ring on his right hand that him and a buddy made while working together a few years back and I thought it was real nice, plain but he made it out of a nut and it was his own work. So when we talked about engagement rings I said I wanted one just like his, a little smaller, but a made one by him and I got just that, he proposed in front of the chldren on one knee, it was awesome that he included the children in our moment. I Love him and he loves me very much! So although our paths had crossed in the past thank you POF for giving us the outlet to reconnect and we both joined because friends told us about your site.  | On January 26, 2006, on your dating site,POF I met the most wonderful, beautiful, caring woman that I have ever known. We met by my seeing her profile which had a photo of an old Panhead in it, and being that I had one, I mailed her on the site and told her that I had a 52 Pan. She responded back and we Chatted on Bike's Etc. Which led to more as Story tell's . We then started talking a little bit on the site, which led to us exchanging email addresses, which led to getting on messenger and the telephone together. In February, she come down for an initial visit, which went well. My "Babe" returned several times after that and all went terrific. In May she came back here, and On May 13th, 2006, we did a commitment cermony and engagement with friends in attendance. We even got to take the ol' 52' Panhead for a ride for her Maiden voyage ride. The time spent with this beautiful woman was fantastic and I Love HER with all my heart. We spent the better part of a year together,on and off but in February 2007 she had to return to her home, due to medical problems,Lung Cancer and wanting to be near family and better medical treatment. It is my intention to join her there just as soon as I can (taking care of business here), and as soon as I get there it is our intention to have a regular wedding ceremony so that she can become my wife. I have never met a woman like my Babe, for there can never, nor was there ever anyone that could come close to being the woman of my dreams, as she has become. She has my heart and will always have my heart, she is that great a person.I LOVE HER VERY, VERY MUCH and I ALWAYS WILL.This is his Story and now i will give you a Little Insite on mine. God has Truley Blessed me as well as Him,i never in my Wildest Dream's ever thought i'd ever meet a Man as Kind and Caring. He's My Whole Life Now and will Forever. Be The Sad Part is My Health but when we Marry what ever time im Blessed with will be the Best Part of my Life never the less if im here a Week and Month I Can Never Find the Word's to Thank you, THE Staff and the Site !!!  | A friend of mine help me get on POF,i thank her every day for that.Johnny and i started talking on POF in the begning of may 20006.I wanted to met him as so as i started talking to him,but i waited a while ,cause i was going on vaca the next week.Well when i got home we starting talking again and exchanged pictures from a couple of years ago.Johnny had told me a story about him meting the most beautiful girl a couple of years ago at a bar that she worked at ,,but she wouldn,t really give him the time of day.See she was just getting out of a bad relationship.Well we exchanged picture, old piture, that night,to find out that i was her.{ see the piture that johnny first saw of me on POF ,my today pitures ,,i have dark hair,,a couple of years ago i had blond hair,i geuss thats how Johnny remebered me}So was i shocked when he said that i was her,and that even knowing he was on POF he could not stop thinking of that girl him met years ago at the bar.So Johnny and i talked all week on the PC.Until the friday night that i was out with my daughter Crystal,and hit a sign in front of my house with the back car door open.And if it has ever happen to you you'll know that it take alot to get it closed.So my girl and i came in to the house,i went on the comuter to see if anyone was home and maybe could tell me how to get the door closed.Johnny came on and told me a couple different thing that i could do.But i had tried everything.Johnny asked so nicely if he could come over to help.Living on the other side of town i thougth it would take him for ever to get there,but in just 20 min he ran through the shower,got dressed {he had just got of work at 11pm}and was out side my house looking at my car.He didn;t come to the door ,he said he was shy.{not any more!!}So i walked out to the car ,{it was rainning that night} and i said can you believe i did this???.Johnny looked at me and said so many things with his eye.I swear if we could of said i love you that night we would of.So Johnny fixed the car{he is very good with his hands,i don;t think theres anything that he can't fix.Then he sat in his truck and asked me to ,{it was raining out}We talked for about an hour {i wanted to kiss him so bad }then Johnny went home and i went in the house.The next morning i get this email from him saying that i was breath taking and i made him feel like a little boy ,shy and didn't know what to say.Johnny and i talked all week,then went out on the weekend.We have done so much with each other since we;ve met,we both have kids Chris 17 Crsytal 116 Jenny 14 and Julieann 13.We have so much fun with all of us together.Johnny is my best friend,i really never knew that love could be this strong and great.We both own our own houses and plan on moving in together and getting married in the summer when all the kids are done school.We are both very thankfull every morning and every night that we have finaly found each otherwe could not ask for a better thing then our love for each other,,,Thank you POF,,,From Tammy,Johnny And the kids.. |
 | Thank you PlentyofFish! I have met a wonderful man and am very happy. We met online in March 2005 and chatted for quite a while before we met in person. We finally decided to meet in person on June 7, 2005.We met at Tim Hortons and had coffee and hit it off. From there we dated for a few months. We are now planning out future together including marriage and a family. Its so hard to meet people and your site made it easy for me to find what I was looking for in a partner.  | I contacted Steve first just to say hello, not thinking he would contact me back but, he did and we have been together every since that first hello... I took a chance on just being happy and smiling and laughing and found love. We are engaged and plan to be married soon, date unsure as of yet, but soon. We'll keep you up to date...
