 | Well Plenty of fish is a awesome place. I made many friends, and found my the love of my life on here in March of 2006. Al and I had met 12 yrs before, during because of another site back then. We use to go to Edworthy and Princess Island park and Play touch football with Many others. We had lost contact with eachother shortly after. Till Plenty of fish, we were both searching and Allain saw my picture, and totally bombarded me with messages, left me his phone number in his last message. When I tried calling, I had the wrong phone number, so I sent him a message, asking which number was wrong, as I could tell he was ectatic from the messages he sent. He proposed to me not even a month after we re-united, and we moved in together in June. So from that moment on we have just been one big happy family, Us and our 2 girls and 3 boys.  | We met on POF in Sep 05,after I had taken the initiative, by messaging him. His profile was honest, uncomplicated, and not trying to unduly impress. Plus his picture was an up to date one, not from 20 years ago... which meant I got what I saw. One thing led to another, and he eventually, drove 260 miles to visit me,and our first meeting was wonderful. I had my children there, as I had involved them, and they knew I was looking to meet someone else. I am a practical person, and never thought that you could immediately think 'this is the person' upon a first meeting, but that is what happened. Anyway, Martin ended up driving up every weekend, a 500 mile plus round trip, and on new years day proposed. We still lived apart, and ended up with the pair of us alternating weeks at each others houses.We put some mileage on the cars believe me! lol We decided to move in together sept 06,so my girls and I moved into Martins house. We are getting married Aug 25th of this year, and planning to buy a house together, hopefully before the wedding. Both Martin and I are happy, however, life is not a bed of roses. We both have external factors that make life difficult. Trust me though, that if you love one another enough, and believe that you are wanting the same things in life, and can discuss and talk through things, then you will make it. We are also lucky, that we both get on famously with our exes, and with children involved, it makes life so much easier. Thank goodness for sites like plenty of fish, as life is now so good, and full of optimism for the pair of us. Keep looking as you may be lucky enough to reel in a wonderful catch just like me.
