 | Hey there. Chris and I had met on this site, late January 2005. we had so much in common. He asked me to be his wife in sept right before we recieved the keys to the house we had bought together. We just celebrated the 1 years anni of the first day we met and two days later our little angel was born. we named her ashley Lynn. I couldn't be any happier than what i am right now. he is my soul mate. Some of our friends said that we had moved just a tad bit quickly. But we don't think so.  | I was on POF for almost a year before I met my match. I had met many people from the site, and formed some friendships, but the "wow" that I was looking for wasn't there. When I did meet my match, I was about to retire my pole, and give up, and I am so glad that I didn't. Our first meeting was wonderful, very casual, and the best one yet. The "wow" was there, and it still is. I couldn't be more thankfull for staying on POF and meeting the man of my dreams. He is everything I was looking for and more, and yes, we are engaged and are planning to get married on August 11th, 2007! Don't give up hope, love may just be around the corner! |

We were on Yahoo, I was new to the game, I thought you were beautiful, ‘workinggirl’ your name. I sent an Ice Breaker, it was all I could do, and waited patiently, to hear back from you. You messaged me back, with your Hotmail address, I was ecstatic you did, I must confess. Through email and Messenger, you became a chat friend, many emails and messages, we both did send. You cheered me up, when I was so blue, you knew what to say, and just what to do. You made me laugh, when I was so down, you put a smile on my face, with your clowning around. You told me about Fish, a free dating site, and I set up my profile, that very night. ‘Alone4now’, was the name I used, but with internet dating, I wasn’t amused. I never thought we’d meet, cuz you lived so far, we Googled it, 10 hours by car! But then Sir James, was having a bash, I thought about going, but was short on cash. So I posted a message, on the PoF thread, “Who wants to go”, from Timmins it said. There were a few members, that wanted to go, but in the end, two were a ‘no show’. I sent you a mail, and thought it’d be neat, if at this party, we could finally meet. “You’d thought about going”, you mailed me that day, “and as of right now, there’s no keeping me away”. We hit it off, right from the start, I thought you were gorgeous, witty and smart. We chatted and laughed, and it was all just right, then you crawled in your trunk, to sleep for the night. Since that day, back in June, my heart and yours, has been in tune. We’ve managed to see each other, every 6 to 8 weeks, I so look forward, to all of our meets. We’ve become so close, you have a place in my heart, the day will be Grand, when we’re not so far apart. The rest of my years, I want to spend them with you, I know our love, is oh so true. We were married a year later, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most rewarding things to ever happen to myself.
