 | Wesley contacted me first through POF. My best friend thought that he looked too old in his pictures for me, but I loved his tattoos and the fact that he rode motorcycles, so I emailed him back. We talked a few times through email and on the phone, then we decided to meet in person. Our first date was August 31, 2006. I got lost trying to find where we were supposed to meet so he had to find me. He decided to stay with me anyway. The first date was fun, we talked a lot, had a good time and then he had to go to work. That was on a Thursday. We were supposed to get together again on that Saturday and go ride motorcycles, but I got sick and ended up at the hospital where I work. He called me on Saturday night and we talked for a while longer. I ended up not going to work on Monday night and he came out Monday to take care of me. He ended up staying until I had to go to work on Tuesday night. When I got to work there were a dozen long stem red roses waiting for me with a note saying "Hope you feel better, Wesley". Since then, things just got better. We were together for 3 weeks when he proposed. That's another great story. I got to his house and he had candles and flowers set up everywhere. He got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, I said yes and then he had to go to work. We were together for 2 months and 4 days when we got married. He planned the whole wedding, it was in the North GA mountains during the height of the season when the leaves are changing. He even rented a cabin in the mountains for our honeymoon. It was great!  | Rob contacted me first on Plenty of Fish. We exchanged email addresses. Talk on msn for a few days then he asked for my phone number. We decided to meet. I invited him over to my house (I was having a painting party). He showed up with paint brushes and trays. We hit it off right aways, have seen eachother every day since. He moved in with me in August of 2006 we got engaged in September and now we are expecting a baby on June 30, 2007. He treats me like a princess and I truly believe he is my solemate. |
 | Chris and I met at POF on a Wednesday and exchanged e-mails. I am from overseas, living in London for 2 years. Chris is English and his oldest daughter had put his profile on POF. We were both recently spliting from other ex partners.Thanks to happy events and coincidences we came across meeting one Friday night. I thought I would chat to a friend and we both would mourne about our problems, I even took an extra pack of tissues with me thinking that both us would cry a lot. Well, when I saw Chris at Angel Station(London) I thought to myself 'hummm i'm not gonna cry...'. WE couldn't separet anymore....two weeks later he proposed to me and 4 weeks later we moved in together. Chris introduced me to his kids (they are my famly now) and last December we brought over my kids from Brazil to spend Christmas with us. My life changed totally when I met this man because for many years I waited for a man that I could really have a life with, sharing the good and the bad things,helping each other, supporting each other...Today (8 Feb)is our aniversary. We've been together for only 5 months, but they've been the best of my life. I do thank POF and Kelly , Chris's daughter, for making me so happy.WE are getting maried on 8 September - one year after our first day. Thank you guys! |
 | We met during last years Bears playoff games. The Bears did not win that game, but I felt like I won. Brandon and I dated for a year, then right after the New Year we got engaged. Before plentyoffish, I was in and out of relationships. When I met Brandon we both just knew, this was the last first date of our lives! |
