 | We met on POF in June, I had added him to my favorites list and had intended on writing him a message, but even before I had a chance to write to him, he had already messaged me. We exchanged emails, and talked online for a couple of days, as well as some phone conversations. The day we met, he rode his bike all the way from Niagara Falls, to Fonthill in the pooring rain, he was soaked and covered in mud. But none the less, the first time I saw him I knew thats who I wanted to be with. Since then we have been inseperable, I thank god every day that he was sent my way, he has changed my life and made me a better person just by being around. We got married in October of 2006. I have never been happier. We are expecting our baby in April as well. Im very glad this site has helped me find true happiness and hopefully there is someone out there is that special someone out there for everyone. |
 | Sheldon and I began our relationship on Feb. 5, 2005. It was my first time trying the online dating thing. I never imagined that i would find the love of my life when i signed up for plentyoffish. A lot has happened since that day. We recently celebrated 2 years together, and in August of 2006 he proposed! I have never been happier in my entire life. Now i look forward to the day that I say "I do". I wish everybody the kind of success that we have had- love is out there and it's on plentyoffish! |
 | We started talking on here in July of 2006. After many emails and phone calls lasting 3 hours at a time,we decided it was time to meet face to face. On Sept7. Patrick took the bus and came to my home to see me, well lets just say we had a wonderful 4 days today, learning a lot about each other, So we decide that we was meet to be together. Pat would travel to my home every weekend sometimes with friends and some on the bus. In oct I receive my promise ring, and I received my diamond on jan1 2007. Let me tell you we are deeply in love and have a hard time being apart from each other, talking each day on the computer and on the phone, our last words to each other every night is I love you and let me tell you hearing I love you from someone who truly loves you is a close to heaven as you can be here on earth, we look forward to the weekends so we can be in each other arms. On March the 1st we will be moving into our home together in Woodstock, and we are planning on being married in Sept 2008 and guess what we are having a outdoor wedding next to the river where the FISH swims. All I can say in closing is that I wish that every woman out there could find the love I have found with Patrick ( my hot stuff). I would like to take this occassion to thanks the owner of plenty of fish for setting up this website so I could meet the most wonderful man on this earth. |
 | It was kinda like what you read in a book, or see in a romance movie. I, Jessica was browsing on POF for fun, really not expecting to find anything or anyone when I kept coming across my soon-to-be husbands picture. It seemed like he was everywhere. I decided to do something that I had never done and that was IM him to say hi. So I did just that, I sent him an instant message saying, "Hi just wanted to stop in and tell you that you kept popping up everywhere I looked." He being the kind, loving person that he is, replied with a simple, "Well, it must be fate!" Those words hit me in a way that I was not expecting. From that simple conversation our relationship was born. We chatted online for another hour or two and decided to talk on the phone. We chatted on the phone for another 4 or 5 hours (mind you both of us had to get up EARLY the next morning and it was late when we started). Since that fatefull night, we have only gone 1 day without talking to one another and that 1 day is all it took for us to realize that we belonged together. Three months later he proposed to me and I of course said "I do!!" In September of '06 we got married and have enjoyed the best in life since and are still floating on Cloud 9. We owe our love to Plenty of Fish because we would've never found each other without you. Thank you so much. |
