 | Well our story is more fairytale like or so I'd like to think. I was bored one weekend and decided to open a profile with any free online dating website that I could find. I stumbled upon Plentyoffish and my sister happened to have a recent pic of me in her computer. Twenty minutes later I have a profile! I began searching and came upon a cute guy with a goatee and a USC baseball cap. I read his profile and he caught my eye because he mentioned that he was looking for a latina girl. I always liked caucasian boys but never ever dated one. Anyhow I sent him an e-mail and he responded! We then started IM'ing each other and found out we both had yahoo. In our e-mails in which we talked about ourselves, our families and our plans for the future we exchanged phone numbers and soon enough he called me. We talked for about 20 mins on Nov 21. I remember the date because he was watching Monday night Football with his friends and said he would call me later. We talked for about 2 hrs and I laughed the whole time. He was so cute and funny! We made arrangements to meet for coffee 2 days later but ended up having dinner and a romantic walk on the beach. We didn't share our first kiss he actually stole one from me! It was really nice. I was a little unsure still, I think I was just nervous though. We had a second date that weekend and went miniture golfing. We had the best time ever. I felt that we knew each other for years. We connected so well. We went on a third date to this Cuban restaurant and he loved it. He had never been. I knew after this date that he was the one. I had a really good feeling in my heart. I was in love. I couldn't tell him though! Hullo it had been 3 dates! He drove me home and we hung out in his car for a little while before I went inside. I hugged him good bye and he told me then that he was falling for me. He was in love! I couldn't believe it.! He actually felt the same. We went on couple coffee dates after that and one day he proposed. Mind you it was over the phone, but I didn't care. I knew he was the one for me. I lived and breathed his presence. We got married on my birthday 12/12/05 . We met at the courthouse, tied the knot and we've never been happier! We have been married for 1 year, 1 month and 8days. He is the love of my life. I know it was fast but I would do it over again. He still asks me over the phone if I would marry him and I always say yes! |
