| We both were in the verge of ending our accounts on plenty of fish, tired of all the men that were looking for one thing and I'm sure all girls know what I am talking about and Gary was tired of all the head games women played on here. Not thinking we would find the right match we were both on the verge of giving up, however the last night of being on this chat room Gary found me. Well actually, he found me earlier but I didn't respond to him thinking he wasn't for me, however when he live chatted with me boy did I find out I was WRONG!! We started talking through this system and lasted until the early morning. As we became comfortable with each other we eventually exchanged phone numbers. Through conversation we found that we were so much a like in our ways of thinking and communication. It was like love over the phone. When we finally met it was definately love at first sight. Until this day we still can't believe that we found each other on a chat line. It still is a thing that both of us shake our head wondering if this is really true. We are happily living together now and have combined our families into one. Everyone is very happy for us and knows that we are the perfect match. There is hope. It just takes a lot of weening out the losers to find the right one for you. But don't forget just because a person's profile might not seem like your type give it a shot, you never know what may be waiting for you on plenty of fish. |
| We started by emailing through Plentyoffish.com, and met at Starbucks after talking on the phone, then went to an Imax movie, then dinner and drinks all in the same evening. We have never looked back since! We have gone on many short trips together, and are now going on our first cruise. We cannot thank Plentyoffish enough for giving us this tool to bring us together. We have told all our single friends and family to give it a try. It's free with nothing to lose! |
| I first met my online boyfriend for a breakfast date one day in August. When my bell rang, I went to buzz him upstairs, and heard his voice for the first time say, "It's Timothy, Anne." I was so excited that he was finally standing at my apartment door after emailing each other almost constantly for two months. "You're here, Timothy," I replied ecstatically. I quickly unlocked my door, and we took one look at each other and melted into each other's arms and kissed passionately. We had exchanged pictures, and he was everything I had longed for, all six feet of him. Tim was everything I thought he would be beginning when he first told me I inspired the writing of his story, "The Girl in the Window." When we went to Terrace Bagels Café, he was a perfect gentleman, pulling chairs out and opening the door for me. Being treated like a lady made me even more enamored with him than I'd been since July when we first met online. Tim took me on a tour of the neighborhood to show me everywhere that he had lived in Brooklyn. We couldn't believe we had grown up in such close proximity to each other and never met in the neighborhood or in nearby Prospect Park where we both took walks. This is where I had my first kiss, Anne. I want to kiss you here," he said as he led me to a spot just inside an entrance to Prospect Park. I fell in love deeper than I've ever been before. My face became very flushed. "Are you all right, Babe? Your hands feel very hot, and you're getting very flushed." "You're making me feel that way," I told him. "I'm not trying to turn you on." "Let's go sit down again for awhile and talk." "It was wonderful talking to you online, Tim, but now we have a real relationship. You're real to me now. When we told each other, 'I love you,' I just knew you were the right person." "I love you, Anne. You're wonderful." After an hour of talking and kissing, I said, "Let's walk and stop for coffee in the Park Slope Starbucks." "I'm a virgin to Starbucks since I have never been in one before," Tim joked. "If you have never been in one before, then that is what you are," I laughed. When we were seated inside and had our coffee, he told me, "You have beautiful green eyes." "Thanks. You have beautiful blue eyes," I replied. I touched my sapphire and ruby rings. I had picked these two rings out because of the meanings of their stones. Sapphire signifies intensity. I thought about how appropriate these choices were to wear today while I listened to him talk to me. We both bore King's heritage before we met. I'm a descendant of King Finghin of Munster, Ireland, and he's a descendant of King Harrod of Sweden. "Color means a lot to me. I've always drawn, photographed, customized patterns to sew, made ceramics and tested very high artistically." "I did very well in art in high school when I took a course to be with my girlfriend," he told me. Looking at the time on my watch, he said, "I have three watches, but I hate to ever have to wear them. It makes me feel very uncomfortable." "Oh, you're just a nature boy," I said smiling. "That's a beautiful cross you have on though. I should wear a watch, but I don't like to worry about the time." "Talking about time, Tim, I think it's time for me to ask you a little question about something. Have all the girls had a hard time refraining from touching your ass?" "It was just the woman at the Post Office that used to pinch me on the ass all the time. I guess she had a fetish about pinching my ass. That woman looked a lot like you, Anne, but she was my boss and ten years older than me at the time." "So you felt an attraction to her, Tim?" "Yes, I did, but it was only physical and not love. But yeah, I could not say no. But I've traveled the world looking for my soul mate." "You've talked a lot about your past relationships and sex in your stories," I said as he joked with me and talked about some of the women. "I love the way you joke and talk and bring me out of myself again, Tim." I kept touching my hair. I had a sensual tension that I had never felt before. My resistance to sexual advances was breaking down. He was bringing out the fire in me. I said, "I didn't talk this much with my ex-husband or any other men." "I'm not used to talking with many men, except to those in my family and at work. I haven't dated for the past several years. I divorced several years ago." "I haven't been out in a long time. I'm enjoying being out again. I took care of my father before he died, and now I'm a published author, Anne." "My mother died several years ago. I'm glad you're enjoying being out again. It's so nice to be here with you. I was married many years to one man. We moved around a lot, I explained. I only had one boyfriend after that briefly. I am a student at the University of New York, Brooklyn College, majoring in Creative Writing. I plan to edit, write and teach. We have a lot more in common than I had with anyone I ever met, Tim." I knew that the attraction and love I was feeling and that he expressed were what I needed all my life. "A man who loved his father enough to care for him until he dies is a very special person, Tim." I wondered whether I could please such a man and keep him happy. I wanted very much to make him happy because I felt very happy and wanted a permanent relationship with this man. It was as if he read my mind when he said, "I don't just want you for a roll in the hay, Anne. I want you to be my soul mate. I'll go slow and would wait for you until you are ready." "I'm glad of that, Tim, and I want that too." Tim asked me, "What pet name would you prefer me to call you? Is lovelylove or Babe okay?" "I love it when you call me any of the names you have been calling me, especially those." He sent me links in his emails of his stories, and I knew I loved him from his private emails, but his stories are so hot and sexy, I was not sure I could handle a relationship with him. "I love to listen to the links of hot romantic songs with the written words that you've been sending me, Tim. The ones from when we were very young make me feel youthful and sexy again." "I sent you the 'Happy Cat' because that's the dance I did at the dance contest I once won. It's great to have a girlfriend who enjoys the same music I always have. After all the phone and online conversations we have had, I feel 'Unchained Melody' is our song. I came back to this area after being away from it so many years to find you, my soul mate." He lived in the suburbs upstate, and this was the first time we were able to get together. We passed a deli which sells different varieties of flowers. "What kind of flowers would you like, Anne?" "You pick because I like both the pink and red roses very much." "If you like both of them, I'll buy you both bouquets." "I do not want you to do that. I would really like the bouquet of red roses from you. I would love any flowers you picked though. Red means passion and love." Tim paid for two dozen red roses and handed them to me as he smiled and gazed into my eyes. "Thanks so much, Tim, for the flowers. They're lovely." His gorgeous blue eyes locked with mine in a soulfull gaze. I had never noticed anyone with such expressive blue eyes and so handsome a face. He was very passionate, and I realized I wanted to talk and get to know him even better. We had planned on seeing a movie, but we walked at Prospect Park because I thought the movie would make him late for his train home. We were almost completely oblivious to the passersby when we sat on a bench and talked. Every once in awhile we French-kissed, and he told me we had the right chemistry for one another. We began to breathe very heavily. "I love your kisses, Tim." "What do you want to do now, Anne?" "Let's walk some more back towards my home, and we will stop somewhere nearby for another coffee." "Do you still want to see a movie? We can go inside, and I will stay with you longer. I do not have to take the train that I originally planned on." "Let's walk back and look at the movies and times again and see." Tim and I kissed again. By this time I had my leg on his leg, and we were hugging. Two Sanitation Department men drove by in a truck and yelled, "Nail her, Bro," and we both laughed. "I feel so young, Anne." "And so do I with you." Tim said, "I think we are going to get arrested." "Tim, lots of people sit and kiss occasionally outside, but we should walk again." As he stood up, Tim held me around the waist, and we walked back towards home because we decided not to go to the movies and spend more time together. "Where were you when I lived here?" Tim asked me. He told me he had joined the Navy when he was young and traveled the world to search for his soul mate. "I was married very young, but I have been back here three times to live since the divorce. I feel like I have been looking for you all along." "Let's stop at Connecticut Muffin for a little while first and have iced tea with lemon, Tim." At Connecticut Muffin, I told him, "I love holding hands with you and sitting here talking." "I love you, but long-distance dating is all new to me. It is difficult when you do not live near each other," he said. "I don't ever want to leave you," he told me. "I don't ever want you to leave, but we need to head towards my apartment so you do not miss your train." We talked and kissed whenever we would sit on a bench and even as we walked along. "I'm worried about the people watching us because we keep getting carried away, Tim. We're almost at my place. I hate to say goodbye." We arrived at my apartment, and I asked him inside to sit on the couch for a little while. Tim turned to me and began hugging and kissing me, and things started getting pretty hot. Before we could control ourselves, Tim and I were kissing passionately again. Time was slipping by. Our chemistry was kicking in high gear. "It's time to come up for some air. I am not trying to seduce you today, Anne. I really wanted to talk and get to know you. So let's just talk about what happened with your ex-husband." "I was with my ex-husband since I was seventeen, Tim. At first it seemed wonderful, but we never understood each other, and there were many arguments. I am so glad we have a lot in common with each other." "I'm glad I found you. I hope you can be my soul mate. I have been with lots of women, Anne." "Was there anyone else that you really loved, looking back on everything?" "No, in hindsight, I think it was just lust. I was lonely when I traveled around in the Navy." "Why are you holding your neck, Tim?" "My neck hurts, Anne." "That was a long trip you took just to come to see me, and you still have a long trip home. You're my baby, now. Just lie down with your head on my lap, and I will massage your neck. That's what I want to do for you." "It was a beautiful day, Anne. I really would not try to seduce you until you are ready." Tim lay down on the couch with his head down on my lap, and I massaged the tension out of his neck and shoulders. As he relaxed, I spoke soothingly to him. "It feels good, Babe. I'm so relaxed with you." "I wish I could just stay here and be with you all night, but it's our first date. I have to catch the train." "We can't stop kissing, but I'm afraid you'll miss the train. Do you want me to call and find out the time of the next train?" "No, that's all right. I will just catch the next one." "I will walk you to the nearest train station entrance so you will know where that one is. It is so hard to part." "I do not ever want to leave you. I do have to leave now though. I have a lot of work to do." Before he left, Tim told me, "I shouldn't kiss you again, but I am going to." Then he kissed me passionately with open lips. We both told each other, "I love you." "Send me a private messagae on Plentyoffish.com when you get home so I will know you got home all right, Tim." "I will email you as soon as I get there." Later that night, when I returned from my brother's house, I called him since I had not received an email on his computer to say that he arrived home. "I'm so glad you are home and all right, Tim. I was worried about you since it was already ten o'clock, and I didn't hear from you." "I am all right. I just got in ten minutes ago. I just private messaged you. I just had to go to the nearest town and get home from there. The bus left." "I'm so sorry you missed that bus. It is my fault." "That's all right, Babe. It was a beautiful day." "I'm so glad we got to spend the day together, Tim. I love you, Baby." "I feel the same way." The very next day, I looked at Tim's blog online and read about how he had picked out a spot on a hill on his family's land to build a house now that he knew that we'd found each other. I told Tim, "I would be happy to be anywhere with you. I can't wait to see you again." |
| We had no clue that this site would introduce us to such a wonderful relationship. My fiance' is my very best friend and I love him so much. I have a small son already and I felt I would never be married again. However, when I met my fiance' I found a friend and the other half of my soul and my son and him have a great relationship.
