One week later we went on our first date, first kiss and we never looked back. We have been together ever since. He is a wonderful Father figure to my two daughers and he gave me my fairy tale. |
 | I had opened my P.O.F account on October 13th 2006, and by the time i figured it out, I got a message from the most beautiful woman in the world, she messaged me and said i was good looking...i blushed and replied...so i messaged her back asking if she wanted to meet up and she said sure....first date...dinner.....second date...piercing my lip...third date...movie theater....fourth date...engagement....we've known each other for a considerably short period of time, but we know its right.. we are getting our own place in spring/fall 2007 and are to be married in 2008.....here is the poem i wrote for her.. Katie I paint a picture in the back of my mind, So I can think about you all the time. When I am with you, I am free, I picture a lifetime of you and me. I see us in our little home, We have each other, We're not alone. The things we say and feel and do, Are fine details of me and you. The things we do when we're together, Can make a memory last forever. I hope you love me for the rest of my life, So I can die, with you as my wife. So, I ask you with this simple letter, Will you be with me forever?  | When I first put my profile on POF I had given up on love and finding the one "true" one. YOu know the man of my dreams. All that changed when I met my fiancee. I was reading through some of the profiles from my area when his really stood out and caught my eye. There was something about him that really stood out. I wanted to email him, but never could get up the nerve to. I was afraid that I really didn't stand a chance with him. I didn't think that I was what he was looking for. I finally emailed him, although it took me two weeks to work up the nerve. We emailed each other back and forth for about 3 weeks before we exchanged phone numbers. The first time that we talked on the phone, we talked for 4 hours. A week later we decided to meet. We have been together ever since. My fiancee asked me to marry him just a couple of weeks ago and now we are planning a summer wedding. I couldn't be happier. Thank to POF, I met the love of my life. |
 | I signed up on plenty of fish after a co worker said she meet a few people there. I figured, it's free so nothing to lose. I was on for now less then a couple searches when I came accross Kim's profile. She seemed intresting, and we had a few things in common so I sent the obligatory introduction letter, and we seemed to click rather quickly. A few email exchanges later we spoke on the phone, and after about a week we meet at a half way point. Before anything was said when we first meet face to face we kissed and held hands and I havent stopped since. It wasnt long before we fell head over heels for each other, and just a few months afterwards I brought to her Niagra Falls to pop the question, of course she said yes. Currently we are planning for a wedding for may 2008 and also will begin a house hunt within this year. Over all life is sweet thanks to Kimberly, I truly found my better half and I cant imagine myself today without her. Thanks plenty of fish, you litteraly help make my life absolutely complete in every way now. |
