Married September 2006
She was an intern at a cable news channel, soon to graduate from Penn State. He was a paint store manager looking for new friends. Who knew things would turn into what they did. I saw her on plentyoffish and figured, what the heck and sent her an email. The rest was history. We talked for about a month over the email until I finally asked her to dinner. We hit it off right away. We dated for almost a year before one night after a Redskins loss I proposed and she said yes. We were married almost one year later at her small church in Pennsylvania. Jenn and I thank plentyoffish for giving us the venue to meet each other.

Married May 2007
My fiance and I met online back in February of 2006, and after chatting and getting to know each other through IM and emails we finally arranged to meet for the first time in March. We were instantly attracted to one another and had so much in common that we literally spent the whole day together talking and hanging out, and that was just the first date! Every time we got together we felt more and more comfortable with each other, and by the time summer began we were involved in a deep and loving relationship. We knew from the moment we said "I love you" that this was it, and now we are happily engaged and plan to wed this year in May!

Engaged February 2007
i never thought this web site would work but how wrong i was!! i met the greatest girl in the world on here.. ive never been happier

Engaged December 2006
HOOK, LINE, & SINKER . . . I had only been on this site for 4 months before I met Steve. Steve had been on the site less than 2 months when I received an e-mail from him. We exchanged e-mails then it progressed into 5 hour phone conversations. We discovered that we had mutual interests and determined that we were both not only good looking, but alsoe ducated and intelligent, so we decided to meet. This meeting confirmed the fact that we had a lot in common and were attracted to one another. Things progressed into a dating relationship. We had a lot of fun together and enjoyed many common interests. Things were progressing extremely well, so in November 2006 we decided to move in with one another. Over the holidays we took a trip to Beliz for 7 days. While in Beliz, and having booked our first diving adventure, we set out at 6 am the next morning. As we anchored and were about to get in the water, Steve pulled out a ring from his wet suit. He pulled out a 1.5 carat platinum diamond ring. He asked me to marry him just as the sun was rising in the horizon. It was the most perfect proposal setting that any woman could ask for. What a way to begin our diving adventure . . . Thank You Plenty of Fish for helping us find that special person in our lives. Without this site, our paths would never have crossed, and our meeting would never have been possible. We are excited for our future together! -Steve & Erin in the Chicago "burbs"

Married June 2006
Eric started e-mailing me in November of 2005 from Connecticut. He knew that he would be moving to Idaho in December and he wanted someone to show him around. We talked a lot on e-mail and after he moved here to Idaho in December, we had our first date and we got along very well. One date led to another and another and before we knew it we were engaged by February. It is true, when it is really right between two people, you just know it deep inside of your heart. We were both 47 years old when we married in June of 2006 and we have never once regretted our decision. We have proven that we are not too old to start our new life together. Together, the way life was meant to be lived! Barbara
