Exactly one year from our first date. And funny how small the world is.....we've been working 3 blocks away from each other for the past 2.5 years!  | in may Pat messaged me and i decided to go out on a limb and message him back...3 days later we had our first date..Pizza Playoffs and moldy bread (LOL) long story...lol it was the beginning of something amazing...so many laughs and fun things dotted with hard times to keep it real...in october we go engaged ( also a funny story..LOL ) and in December we will get married..  | Dumb luck is the best thing that could ever happen to somebody, I met mango-girl on a night in the kings head by accidentally bumping into her on the way to the washroom, I was wearing a coppertone shirt (the one with Jodie Foster as a kid getting her pants pulled down by a dog),she looked at my shirt and said "thats just plain wrong!" I told her it was my pedophile shirt and we both cracked up laughing. The next day when we spoke for the first time, we found out that both of us were on P.O.F,and P.O.F. kind of acted like a bridge between us because we were in different parts of the city. We now live together, engaged, and trying to get married in oct. 2007, and we noth remain on P.O.F because we have met many friends here, oh, and of course the forums, Thanx P.O.F. |
 | I live in Ontario - Canada - we have many POF parties and events held around us all the time. I am one of those people who joins in at every chance I get (still do)!! I have made awesome friends that way!!! At one of the local dances I met my fiance!! I had reason to approach him and start up a conversation - he asked me to dance and we spent the evening chatting!!! At one point in the evening we exchanged numbers - he called the next day and almost everyday since!!! We had a connection that was like no other!! He was loving - kind - trustworthy and respectful!!! It was Canada Day a few days later and we sat in the grass and watched the fireworks together - I felt as though they came right from the sparks I felt!!! We are madly in love and are to be married this March 2007!!! |
