 | Ashlynn and I had both been unsuccessful on other dating websites. When I joined Plentyoffish.com, it was truly my last chance at love. I desperately wanted to meet the love of my life, but I didn't want to pay the fees of other sites. I had tried and failed on those before and felt they were a waste of money. Not only is Plentyoffish.com free, but it led me to Ashlynn. After seeing her profile online, I immediately contacted her and we began talking on the phone soon after. We met on Aug. 27, 2005, and knew it was love. We were engaged soon after (Dec. 18, 2005) and married nearly one year to the day (Dec. 16, 2006). I thank those at Plentyoffish.com for helping me find the love of life. Joining this website was the greatest decision I could have possibly made. Ashlynn feels the same way. |
 | Once in a Lifetime Dream Well all we have to say is THANK YOU!!!! Once upon a time there was a Marc and a Paula, they were kinda in the dumps and almost gave up on thier lovelife, thinking that there was no hope in the world to finding the perfect person, to share their lives with , thinking " i guess this is all im gonna get, the same old relationship types." Then there came this website plenty of fish, Paula had never done anything like this and almost didint try it . but she said to herself " what the hell, for the fun of it, ill try it and see what happens." thinking nothing would come of it, but then some guy by the name of sexy187 read her profile, was intriged and decided to contact her. They e-mailed each other threw plenty of fish for about a day, then exchanged msn add. They got to know each other more . and the more they got to know each other the more they were interessted , to the point that they would always check to see if the other person was on when they would get home from work, after eating supper, after showering ect..ect... Then Paula was going to move and asked Marc for his phone# , but she lost his number so they lost touch for about 2 weeks. Paula would always wonder what he was doing and wanted to talk to him again, always looking at his picture she had of him. Marc was doing the same . He would always go on msn to see if she was back on-line. Then all of a sudden she had the internet back!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! so he gave Paula his phone# again, and she as well. Then the phone calls began. They would talk for hours, usually Paula hated the phone and usually has nothing to say over the phone, but with him she found herself very interessted in everything they had to say. Marc foud himself more and more intriged with her and then decided he wanted to meet her. So one night Marc was at a friends house and wanted to see if Paula would come over. He called her over and over but, there was no one home,but he kept trying and finally got a hold of her. so he invited her over thinking that she would decline, but to his surprise she said sure. On the way there Paula was so nervouse that she smoked 3 cigs in a row. She got there sat beside him, talked to him for a bit, then he made the first move, "the hand rubbing the back move." Marc was going to the Voodoo that night, and asked if she would like to go as well, usually she wouldint go because she had to work the next day, but she didint want to leave him, so she went anyways. They went to the voodoo, had some drinks , danced, and then they kissed. And theyve been toghether everyday since then except for 1 day. they got married and are now trying for children and are living happily ever after. We are writing this because we want to share our little story with every one,and it just goes to show that you never know where youre going to meet your soul mate.  | i first talked to melinda one nite in october06 on pof, i was so lucky though cause when i read her profile i sent her a message, and she said she was about to log of when my message came through, wow i am so happy i caught her when i did otherwise i would not be the happiest man on earth now, cause we talked on pof that nite for a while then we exchanged numbers and spoke on phone same nite,then we met the next nite and for me it was love at first sight, since then we have talked almost every day, and we meet every time we can, cause we both work weird hours, i am a long distance truck driver and melinda works shifts, so our time together is so precious, i love melinda with all my heart and sole, she is so beautiful, so funny and so tallented, we r going to get married in 2008 and i cant wait to spend my life with her, i still cant belive that i was a minute from not even talking to melinda that first nite on pof, i think it was fate thank u so much plenty of fish keep up the good work p.s melinda i love u so much babe xxx |
 | I was just about to get off the site and I get a email that was from Andrew he had been on the pof for about a week. We started chatting. Then it went to talking on the phone and he ask me for a date. We went out and the rest is history. We were married in August of 2006. He is everything that I have ever wanted in a husband.  | We met shortly after I joined Plenty Of Fish, I was only a member for about a week prior to meeting Amor here. We talked for a bit then decided to meet. Where we met was the Heritage Mall transit station (here in Edmonton). We then stopped at her sisters for a bit (where she lived at the time) and then left to go downtown. We had our first date at the Starbucks at the Central LRT Station. We came into some issues. She isn't a Canadian citizen quite yet, she is a Live-In Caregiver and now lives across the city. As a result of the distance and her job we are limited to seeing eachother on one of my days off and weekends. I also do have a daughter from a previous relationship which she has accepted her as her own. However we are making it work. I proposed after 3 months which to many seems quick however to me it felt right. We have had a few ups and downs - this includes those common few hour breakups (one lasted 2 days) however we sorted things out and here we are - planning on marrying Dec 2008 or Jan 2009. Amor means everything to me and I promise that I will do everything in my heart to keep her happy. I have to thank my Uncle (ron_edm) for telling me of this site and Markus for creating the site. If neither of them wouldn't of done there part I never would of met the love of my life Amor. |
